Storm Disaster in Aydın: Roofs Blown Away, Trees Fallen

A storm hit Aydın, showing its effects in the evening hours. Roofs blew away, and trees fell.
Aydın Governor Yakup Canbolat stated that teams were on duty throughout the night. He reported that a total of 26 roofs were blown away in Efeler, Incirliova, Didim, and Koçarlı. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported.

The severe rain and wind in the Aegean Region negatively impacted life. The roofs of buildings in Incirliova and Efeler flew onto the road. Additionally, the solar energy system on the roof of a six-story apartment in Efeler fell onto a car.

The storm also affected the public garden in Koçarlı. Windows were broken, and tables and chairs were blown away by the wind.

In Bodrum and Milas, the storm was also severe. Ships had to seek refuge in Bodrum bays due to 4-meter waves and winds blowing at 70 km/h. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported.
