Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy announced the fight against Russia's invasion via social media.

Zelenskiy noted that it has been three years since the city of Bucha was reclaimed from the Russian army, stating, "The world has seen what Russian occupation means. People killed in the streets, tortured people..."

Zelenskiy emphasized that Putin does not want a ceasefire and needs war. "Putin cannot get out of this war because then he will have nothing left," he stated.

Zelenskiy expressed that the Ukrainian people are not alone and that their support is represented worldwide. "Your support during these difficult times is very important for Ukraine and Ukrainians," he said.

Stressing the importance of Ukraine being at the negotiation table, Zelenskiy stated, "Peace can only be achieved through strength, unity, and wisdom."

Zelenskiy stated that Russia's strategic goal is Europe, saying, "Therefore, Europe's fate cannot be determined without Europe."
