AKP and DEM Party celebrated Eid together for the first time in 10 years. This historic meeting was filled with calls for peace and democracy.

The AKP delegation, led by Adıyaman MP Resul Kurt, visited the DEM Party. DEM Party Co-Chairs Yüksel Mutlu and Öztürk Türkdoğan welcomed the visit.

Türkdoğan expressed that the Eid was bittersweet, wishing for the freedom of imprisoned journalists and students. This situation increases the quest for peace and harmony in society.

Kurt emphasized that İmralı has taken on a great responsibility for peace and freedoms. He stated that this call should resonate within society.
