Holiday travelers are returning, and traffic congestion is on the rise!

On the Muğla-Menteşe route, traffic has come to a standstill at times. Authorities urge drivers to be cautious. Warnings have been issued due to potential issues caused by rain.

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that traffic measures will continue until April 8 during the Ramadan holiday. 69,000 personnel will be on duty to ensure safe travel.

The importance of wearing seat belts was emphasized. Minister Yerlikaya stated that using seat belts reduces fatalities in accidents by 45%.

With the increase in traffic congestion, inspections have been intensified in Muğla. Drivers are advised to adhere to speed limits and remain vigilant.

In Istanbul, traffic congestion has also increased due to the holiday. The free public transport has contributed to the crowding. Areas like Kadıköy and Eminönü have seen significant congestion.
