Minister Bayraktar made significant statements regarding Turkey's energy vision. Next year, a large facility for Rare Earth Elements will be established in Eskişehir.

The Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant is targeted to be operational by 2026. Turkey aims to reach a nuclear capacity of 20,000 megawatts.

Natural gas production will also increase. By 2026, the natural gas needs of 8 million households will be met from domestic sources.

Minister Bayraktar stated that exploration and production activities abroad will be accelerated. Drilling will take place in Pakistan and Somalia in 2026.

Significant investments will be made in the energy sector. 2026 is expected to be a record year for renewable energy.
