Landslides in the districts of Ardeşen, Fındıklı, Kalkandere, and Çamlıhemşin have blocked many roads. Rescue teams are working hard to save stranded citizens.

The water levels in the rivers of Fındıklı have risen, leading to flooding. Teams continue to work with 17 machines and 21 personnel to clear the roads.

The Rize Governorship has warned the public to be cautious due to these natural events. It was emphasized that volcanic activities should also be taken into account.

The volcanic movements in the region are associated with magma movements underground. This situation may lead to an increase in natural disasters in Rize.
