Ship traffic in the Bosphorus has been temporarily suspended due to heavy fog. According to the Ministry of Transport, this decision was made because of a rescue ship departing from Haydarpaşa Port.

The decision was implemented in the morning, and the Bosphorus has been closed to ship traffic in both directions. Traffic is expected to reopen after the completion of the ship passage.

Due to the reduced visibility, there have also been disruptions in land and air transportation. Ferry services have been canceled, and some flights have been delayed.

The Ministry of Transport stated that traffic will reopen once visibility returns to normal. This situation is being closely monitored regarding maritime transport disruptions.
