Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan emphasized Turkey's strength in diplomacy, stating that the country has the world's third-largest diplomatic network with 263 foreign missions.

During the groundbreaking ceremony attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Fidan announced that the new complex will be completed in two phases, with the first phase expected to be operational within 550 days.

Fidan highlighted the multidimensional and multi-stakeholder nature of international relations, stating that Turkey pursues an independent and national foreign policy.
