The Effects of Climate Change and Global Warming

Climate change has claimed 16,000 lives in Europe this summer!
Experts are examining the effects of heat waves and the role of human activities. The rise in temperatures across Europe has led to 16,500 excess deaths, highlighting the seriousness of climate change.
British researchers studied 854 European cities and found that temperatures have risen by 3.6 degrees, affecting mortality rates. The highest deaths were recorded in Rome, Athens, and Bucharest.

Experts emphasize that heat waves are as dangerous as hurricanes or heavy rains, yet they are still not taken seriously enough. If we do not act now, the costs will increase.
The use of fossil fuels must be urgently reduced, and policies must be implemented to protect those at greatest risk. Otherwise, the effects of climate change will worsen.
