Minister Tunç Strengthens Judicial Cooperation in Europe

Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç held important meetings in Malta.
Tunç attended the Council of Europe Justice Ministers Conference in Valletta, Malta, where he met with his Maltese, Bosnian, and Georgian counterparts. He expressed that this meeting is very beneficial for strengthening cooperation in the field of justice.

Minister Tunç emphasized the importance of digitalization in judicial cooperation processes, stating that the historical ties between Turkey and Malta will further enhance judicial collaboration.
He noted that cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina is progressing positively, and stressed the need to enhance judicial assistance between the two countries.

Tunç also highlighted the development of cooperation in the field of justice with Georgia, emphasizing the importance of joint efforts in combating transnational crimes.
He stressed the need to expedite efforts regarding the extradition of criminals and mutual judicial assistance.
