New developments have emerged in the H.K.G. case!

The Istanbul Regional Court of Appeals increased the sentences of the defendants in the case regarding H.K.G., who was married at the age of 6. Kadir İstekli received a total of 37 years, while father Yusuf Ziya Gümüşel was sentenced to 19 years and 9 months in prison.

The case was opened based on allegations of sexual abuse against H.K.G. The court ensured that justice was served by increasing the sentences of the defendants.

The Istanbul Regional Court of Appeals ruled that separate sentences should be given for two different crimes, changing the course of the trial significantly.

The court demanded that the defendants be punished for the crimes attributed to them. The fight for justice in the H.K.G. case continues.
