A cold air wave from the Balkans is set to affect Turkey. Temperatures will drop and rain will begin.

According to meteorological reports, rain will start in Istanbul on Wednesday evening. The weather will cool rapidly, with temperatures dropping by 5-8 degrees. Heavy rain is expected especially along the Black Sea coast.

Experts indicate that very heavy rainfall is expected on Thursday morning in Zonguldak, Bartın, and Kastamonu. The first snowfall of the season will be seen in the high areas of Eastern Black Sea.

From Saturday onwards, temperatures are expected to rise again. However, precautions should be taken against potential floods and waterlogging during this period.
