Ankara Mayor Mansur Yavaş made strong criticisms against rent projects. He made significant statements regarding the construction in the Ovacık region.

Yavaş emphasized that the construction limits set in 1998 were changed in 2011, putting the future of the city at risk. He stated, "This is not an urban planning project; it is a rent project that destroys the future of the city."

Yavaş highlighted the importance of unity, stating, "If we do not act together, we will lose not only today but also our future." He sent a message to opposition parties with these words.

Addressing recent political developments, Yavaş said, "If your aim is to hinder CHP mayors, I am ready to resign today."

Mansur Yavaş stated that he will continue to fight for the future of Ankara. "This city belongs to all of us; we did everything we could to stop this order," he said.
