QR Code Application Launched! Food Inspections Now in Your Pocket

The QR code application was launched to track the inspection status of food businesses. Now consumers can use these QR codes in food sales locations to access the inspection history of businesses.
This application, initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, has become mandatory in markets, restaurants, and other mass consumption places. Consumers will be able to view business information by scanning QR codes through the 'Tarım Cebimde' application.
The application aims to ensure consumers have access to reliable food and protect their interests. Additionally, the visibility of official controls conducted by the Ministry will be increased.
Businesses will be able to create their QR codes for free and it will be sufficient to display them where consumers can see. If any inconsistencies are detected, consumers can report them to the 'Alo 174 Food Line.'
Businesses that do not implement the application will face fines. This is considered an important step in ensuring food safety.
