A historic day for transportation in Turkish airspace!

Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that two new records were set in Turkish airspace for daily transit flights and total aircraft traffic. On July 27, we reached the highest daily transit flight count ever with 1760 flights.

Uraloğlu noted that on July 26, we achieved another historic success with 6206 aircraft traffic, surpassing the previous record of 6133 total aircraft traffic recorded on July 19.

These figures demonstrate that Turkish airspace serves as a significant air corridor between Europe, the Gulf, and Asia. The developments in transportation confirm Turkey's central role in aviation.
