A historic trade agreement has been signed between the US and the EU!

President Trump announced during a meeting with EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in Scotland that the EU agreed to purchase 750 billion dollars worth of energy products from the US. Additionally, EU markets will be fully opened to US products.

This agreement also includes a direct 15% tariff on US automobiles and other products. Trump emphasized that this is the largest trade agreement to date.

Von der Leyen instructed teams to accelerate efforts to reach a good and fair agreement on trade. This will further strengthen trade relations between the two parties.
