The Republican People's Party (CHP) is rapidly preparing for the primary elections scheduled for March 23, 2025. With the candidacy process of Ekrem İmamoğlu, the party has initiated a membership campaign to increase its member count and is planning to implement a new organizational model.

Party officials stated that they aim to have a CHP representative in every neighborhood across Turkey. They plan to appoint as many polling station officials as there are polling stations in each neighborhood, who will engage with voters before election day.

CHP Deputy Chair Gül Çiftçi announced that even non-members will be able to vote in the primary elections. This aims to ensure broad participation in the party's activities.

Çiftçi expressed confidence that the primary election process would be the largest day of solidarity in CHP's history, inviting all citizens to participate.
