Earthquake of Magnitude 4.0 in Izmir Gulf

A 4.0 magnitude earthquake occurred in the Izmir Gulf. This tremor was felt by many people.
According to the statement made by the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), the earthquake occurred at 02:18 off the coast of the Izmir Gulf in the Aegean Sea. The depth of the earthquake was recorded at 7.28 kilometers.
The earthquake occurred 11.20 kilometers away from the nearest land, Karaburun district of Izmir, and according to AFAD's inspections, no adverse conditions were reported.
