Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş has significantly increased social support. As of 2024, social aid has reached 6 billion TL!

Last year, 208,258 households, or 833,032 citizens, benefited from support. This shows that 1 in 7 people in Ankara relies on aid.

When Yavaş took office in 2019, social aid was 203 million TL, and by 2024, this figure increased 29 times to 6 billion TL. This is the highest social aid expenditure in Ankara's history.

In 2024, 1.4 billion TL was provided to support students. Additionally, support was provided in various areas such as meat aid, retirement aid, and natural gas aid.

Mansur Yavaş is also notable for his support for retirees. In the last two years, nearly 70,000 retirees received a total of 1.57 billion TL in support.

Yavaş criticized the government, stating, "Retirees have been condemned to death." These aids are crucial for improving retirees' living standards.
