An important change has occurred in Beykoz Municipality. Özlem Vural Gürzel has been elected as the Deputy Mayor of Beykoz.

Following the arrest of Alaattin Köseler, the Beykoz Municipal Council convened to determine the new deputy mayor. CHP's candidate Özlem Vural Gürzel was elected by a majority vote.

In the Beykoz Municipal Council, CHP has 18, AK Party has 11, and MHP has 2 members. As a result of the election, Özlem Vural Gürzel received 18 votes to become the deputy mayor.

This election could change the political balance in Beykoz. How Özlem Vural Gürzel will manage as deputy mayor is eagerly awaited.
