Important information about hurricanes and storm disasters!

The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued avalanche and storm warnings in 7 provinces. Avalanche risks are present in steep slopes with high snow cover in Erzincan, Erzurum, Ağrı, Iğdır, Kars, Ardahan, and Tunceli. Citizens are advised to be cautious and take precautions.

Avalanche risks are increasing in the Eastern Black Sea and Eastern Anatolia regions. Recent snowfalls have created high snow cover, especially in high and steep slopes, requiring caution.

Meteorology also indicated avalanche risks in the Kayseri region. With rising temperatures, the risk of avalanches is expected to increase. Citizens are urged to be vigilant regarding this matter.

Storm warnings have also been issued. On March 11, 2025, the weather will vary across Turkey, with rain and showers expected in the Southern Aegean, Western Mediterranean, and Central Anatolia.
