Climate Change and Global Warming: A Heat Wave is Coming

Climate change and global warming are affecting weather temperatures. This week, temperatures in Turkey are expected to rise 8 to 12 degrees above seasonal norms.
According to Cengiz Çelik from the General Directorate of Meteorology, the hot weather will continue. Rain is not expected in Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir, with temperatures reaching 21-26 degrees.
Thunderstorms are expected in the southeastern Anatolia region. Short-term rain transitions will be effective in Edirne and Çanakkale on Wednesday and Thursday.
With rising temperatures, summer weather will begin to show its effects. This situation is evaluated as a result of climate change.
In Istanbul, temperatures will rise to 21-22 degrees. The weather will enhance the effects of spring weather.
