The MHP deputy made significant criticisms during the Parliamentary Investigation Commission regarding the fire in Bolu Kartalkaya.

The commission convened to investigate all aspects of the fire and identify responsibilities. The meeting, chaired by AKP's Selami Altınok, discussed fire safety standards and the role of TSE.

MHP Elazığ Deputy Semih Işıkver criticized the decision to listen to TSE officials without hearing from the responsible parties. He stated, "We are truly wasting our time here."

Highlighting the importance of measures to be taken regarding fire safety, Işıkver said, "Fire is a disaster that directly threatens life and property safety."

Commission Chairman Selami Altınok stated that all institutions would be heard and responsibilities would be identified. He emphasized the need to enhance fire safety standards.
