A flood disaster occurred in Bodrum! The main water pipeline burst and the road was closed to traffic.

In the Bodrum district of Muğla, the main water pipeline burst around 2:00 AM in Yahşi Neighborhood. The explosion caused the asphalt to crack and tons of water flowed away. Teams from the Muğla Water and Sewerage Administration were dispatched to the area immediately to start repair work.

Following the explosion, a large pit formed in the road, and a tanker fell into this pit. Fortunately, the driver jumped out and escaped. The road was temporarily closed to traffic.

Authorities reported that repair works are ongoing and that the issue with the water pipeline will be resolved as soon as possible. This incident in Bodrum has once again highlighted the need for improvements in the local water infrastructure.
