Fire in the Grand Canyon and Volcanic Activities

As the fire rages on in the Grand Canyon, volcanic activities are also in the spotlight!
The forest fire in the Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona, is rapidly growing due to strong winds and extreme heat. The fire has spread to 20,000 acres within 24 hours and is referred to as the "White Sage Fire."
Around 500 visitors in the area have been evacuated due to the fire. The visitor center, wastewater treatment facility, and other structures have been destroyed in the blaze.
