Barış Terkoğlu, a writer for Cumhuriyet, stated that precautionary measures have been taken against the companies and bank accounts of many names close to İmamoğlu. Among these names are Necati Özkan, who managed İmamoğlu's campaign, and Fatih Keleş, the President of the İBB Sports Club.

İmamoğlu mentioned that some names he does not know also had their assets frozen. This situation may indicate upcoming operations.

Özkan stated that he learned about the freezing of his assets through a message from the Beşiktaş Land Registry Office, initially thinking it was a scam.

Özkan emphasized that he has distanced himself from İBB for years and supports Ekrem İmamoğlu. He believes he is facing a situation without legal basis.
