A fraud operation was carried out in Zonguldak. 7 people were arrested and 5 were detained.

A resident of Gökçebey reported to the gendarmerie that he was defrauded online, claiming a total loss of 542,000 lira. Following this complaint, the gendarmerie took action.

Investigations revealed that the suspects were located in Istanbul, Aksaray, Sivas, and Şanlıurfa. Simultaneous operations were conducted on May 27.

During the operations, 25 digital materials and 10,000 dollars were seized. The 7 suspects were brought to the gendarmerie for processing before being sent to court.

Of the suspects brought before the court, 5 were detained while 2 were released under judicial control. This operation is considered a significant step in combating cyber crimes.
