Hurricane and storm warnings have started to show their effects across Turkey. The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a yellow-coded storm warning for 11 provinces.

The provinces affected include Balıkesir, Bursa, Çanakkale, Edirne, Istanbul, Izmir, Kırklareli, Kocaeli, Manisa, Tekirdağ, and Yalova. It is reported that the strong winds may turn into storms, with speeds reaching up to 70 kilometers per hour.

Weather temperatures are expected to be above seasonal norms in the southern, interior, and eastern regions, while remaining around normal in other areas. For instance, temperatures in Adana could rise to 42 degrees.

The Istanbul Governor's Office has urged citizens to be cautious and take necessary precautions during the storm's expected hours. Disruptions in maritime transport may occur.

Meteorology has warned that roofs may fly off and trees may fall due to the storm. Therefore, it is crucial for those outdoors to be careful.
