Arrest Made in Bolu Forest Fire Incident

An arrest has been made in connection with the forest fire in Bolu. The fire broke out near Göncek village in Mudurnu district.
The fire was brought under control after approximately 20 hours of work by firefighters and helicopters dispatched to the area following reports from villagers. The cause of the fire was determined to be sparks from a combine harvester during field work.
Of the two suspects detained in connection with the fire, the owner of the combine harvester, A.Ç., was arrested, while the landowner, S.O., was released under judicial control. This incident highlights the importance of preventing forest fires.
