Security measures are increasing in the Black Sea! Romanian Defense Minister Ionut Mosteanu evaluated the situation with Turkey and Bulgaria as NATO allies.

Mosteanu stated, "We should expand the joint task force clearing mines in the Black Sea." This is an important step to protect energy facilities and trade routes.

The Black Sea has become a significant battlefield, especially in Ukrainian waters, since Russia's invasion in 2022. Romania, Bulgaria, and Turkey established a mine-clearing task force last year.

Mosteanu added, "The Black Sea will continue to be a battlefield for Russia. Therefore, we must protect our energy infrastructure and maritime trade," he stated.
