Hurricanes and storm disasters are causing fires across Turkey.

Fires in Bursa, Uşak, Karabük, and Kahramanmaraş are rapidly spreading, threatening residential areas. Firefighting teams are intervening from both land and air.

The fires in Orhaneli and Gürsu-Kestel districts of Bursa have been exacerbated by the wind. Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that the fires are under control.

Due to the fires, some residential areas have been evacuated. Firefighting efforts are ongoing with 1163 personnel and 496 vehicles. The growth of the fires is further complicated by the wind.

Minister Yumaklı stated that 76 fires were fought across Turkey, with 51 of them under control. The causes of the fires are being investigated.
