A new operation was carried out in Antalya regarding the bribery investigation.

On July 22, at 07:30, an operation was conducted against Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, resulting in the detention of Deputy Secretary General Serkan Temuçin and Deputy Director of the Planning Department Tuncay Kaya. Information Processing Support Employee Halil K. was also detained. After their processing at the police station, the suspects were referred to the courthouse.

The prosecution requested the arrest of Serkan Temuçin and Tuncay Kaya. The duty magistrate decided to arrest Temuçin and Kaya, while Halil K. was released under judicial control.

This operation is considered the second wave of the ongoing bribery investigation at Antalya Metropolitan Municipality. Many individuals had been detained in previous operations as well.

These operations in Antalya have caused a significant stir in public opinion. Citizens are expecting the bribery allegations within the municipality to be clarified.
