Israel's War Crimes: Why Are Investigations Resulting in Nothing?

Investigations into the Israeli army's attacks on Gaza are largely ending without results. Nine out of ten investigations are either closed or unresolved.

According to research by Action on Armed Violence (AOAV), several tragic incidents in Gaza in 2024 are still awaiting investigation, such as the killing of 112 Palestinians waiting in a flour line.

While the Israeli army claims that investigations are conducted in accordance with national and international law, human rights advocates argue that this system operates slowly. The issue of impunity is being criticized.

As a result, despite increasing civilian casualties, the public's ability to achieve satisfactory and transparent outcomes remains uncertain. This situation is also resonating in the international community.
