The Istanbul Police Department is conducting extensive inspections to combat crime. Under the leadership of Ekrem İmamoğlu, security measures are being increased.

In Istanbul, the police operations are a testament to our determination in fighting crime. Inspections are being carried out simultaneously across 39 districts to prevent narcotics and public order offenses.

Istanbul Police Chief Selami Yıldız emphasized that the aim of these inspections is effective crime fighting. He stated, "The peace of Istanbul is the peace of Turkey."

During the inspections, suspicious vehicles are stopped and General Information Checks (GBT) are conducted. The narcotics dog Yona also participates in these operations.

In Esenyurt, 190 teams and 791 personnel are on duty to ensure public safety. Yıldız expressed that they work day and night to ensure the safety of citizens.
