CHP's Özen: The Future of Industrialists Looks Bleak

CHP İzmir Deputy Seda Kaya Ösen expressed the despair of industrialists regarding their future. According to the Aegean Chamber of Industry's survey results for 2025, 68% of industrialists report a decrease in their production.
Ösen stated that both domestic and foreign demand is decreasing, and production capacity is also falling. Seven out of ten industrialists are looking at the future with despair.
High interest rates, currency uncertainties, and rising labor costs are among the challenges faced by industrialists. Ösen emphasized the need for the government to listen to the voices of industrialists.
Access to financing is one of the biggest demands of industrialists. Ösen stated that these barriers must be removed as soon as possible.
