It has come to light that the stone structure built by Elazığ Transportation Inc. (EBUAŞ) was completed without the knowledge of Mayor Şahin Şerifoğulları. EBUAŞ General Manager Vedat Görgöz claimed that the structure was built using leftover stones from the Villa Kent project.

While Görgöz stated that the structure was built for hosting guests, CHP Council Member Murat Akkoç emphasized that the public was not informed about this issue, calling it a management scandal for the people of Elazığ.

Akkoç questioned, "What is the legal basis for this structure? Has a building permit been obtained?" Elazığ residents expect transparency and accountability from their leaders.
