Increasing Arrests in İBB Investigations!

Significant developments are taking place in the investigations against the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB). 24 individuals have been arrested on charges of manipulating İETT and İSFALT tenders.
Among those arrested are high-level executives such as İETT General Manager İrfan Demet and İSFALT Deputy General Manager Levent Tunca. These individuals were sent to court after health checks.

A total of 52 individuals have been detained in the investigations, with 24 being sent to court. The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office stated that the investigation is ongoing and new arrest orders may be issued.
The İBB-focused investigations are broadening in scope, targeting allegations of corruption and organized crime. Many high-ranking officials and mayors are expected to be detained in this process.

The investigations aim to thoroughly examine allegations of corruption in Istanbul. The statements of those detained will determine the course of the process.
