A major operation was conducted against a gang involved in fraud in Gaziantep.

Under the coordination of the Provincial Gendarmerie Command and the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, five suspects were arrested for allegedly committing fraud through social media. This gang was found to be directing victims to fake payment links.

During the operation, five mobile phones, eight SIM cards, and 15 bank cards were seized from the suspects' residences. They caused a total loss of 1.5 million TL through their fraudulent activities.

This incident in Gaziantep highlights how widespread social media fraud has become. Citizens need to be cautious against such scams.
