Hail and heavy rain are affecting Ankara!

The hail and rain that started in the evening hours particularly affected the districts of Keçiören and Mamak. Roads were covered with water and mud, making it difficult for drivers to proceed.

In Polatlı, hail also affected some homes, causing flooding. Municipal teams started working in areas where water accumulated.

Ankara Mayor Mansur Yavaş shared on social media, "According to meteorological data, a very strong rain cell will enter our city in the next 30 minutes. Please be careful!"

As a result of the rainfall, disruptions in transportation occurred, and areas affected by hail turned white. Drivers faced difficulties, and some vehicles sustained damage.
