U.S. President Donald Trump has promised a big trade deal with Russia and Ukraine. He encouraged an agreement between the two countries during the Easter holiday ceasefire.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump stated, "I hope Russia and Ukraine make an agreement this week. Both will start trading with the U.S. and make a fortune afterward."

Russian President Putin announced a ceasefire in Ukraine for Easter. However, Zelensky accused Russia of violating the ceasefire.

Trump emphasized the golden rules of success in negotiations, stating, "He who has the gold makes the rules. Thank you."
