Mayor Erkan Gürbüz stated that despite being the epicenter of the February 6 earthquake, they have not received additional funding. He emphasized that they are trying to provide services with a negative balance due to fines.

Gürbüz revealed that the AKP administration had made illegal hires in 2021, 2022, and 2023, resulting in a fine of 1 million TL. This highlights the challenges faced by CHP municipalities.

He pointed out that the municipality has a payroll expense of 35 million TL, but only 24 million TL has been sent, starting this month with a negative balance of 11 million TL.
