The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a strong statement against the false claims made in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The statement emphasized that these claims are entirely unfounded.

The ministry stated that legal actions would be taken against such manipulative news. It also highlighted that the irresponsible repetition of these lies aimed at undermining the credibility of state institutions is unacceptable.

In the statement, it was noted, "One should not give credence to this systematic slander and defamation campaign carried out by repeating irrational fabrications."
