CHP Leader Özgür Özel gathered at Istanbul Courthouse to support Ekrem İmamoğlu. In his speech, he emphasized that the accusations against İmamoğlu are baseless.

Özel pointed out that the slanders against İmamoğlu are similar to past accusations. 'They called him a thief, a corrupt, a terrorist, and now they say he's a spy,' he criticized.

Özel stressed the need for an indictment to be written for İmamoğlu and his friends. 'Concrete evidence is needed for an indictment,' he stated.

The crowd gathered outside the courthouse showed their support for İmamoğlu's situation. Özel stated that this solidarity would continue.

Özel expressed that they would stand by İmamoğlu and fight against injustices. 'Free press cannot be silenced,' he declared.
