During phone calls with Montenegro's Prime Minister Miloyko Spajić and Foreign Minister Ervin Ibrahimović, expectations regarding the protection of Turkish citizens' rights were expressed. The Montenegrin side provided assurances on this matter.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also made a statement regarding the events in Montenegro. It was noted that necessary precautions were taken to ensure the safety of Turkish citizens.
