Today, the CHP's 22nd Extraordinary Congress is taking place!

The congress is being held at the Nazım Hikmet Cultural Center in Yenimahalle, Ankara, where a confidence vote and elections will be conducted under the leadership of General Chairman Özgür Özel. This congress is critical for the future of the CHP.

At the congress, nearly 200 delegates from the Istanbul Provincial Presidency will not be able to vote. Additionally, to avoid legal issues, General Chairman Özgür Özel and members of the Party Council and High Discipline Board will also not vote.

A confidence vote will be held at the congress, followed by elections. Özgür Özel is the sole candidate for the presidency.

Özgür Özel has invited previous chairpersons to the congress as well. This is an important step to strengthen the message of unity and solidarity within the party.
