A fire disaster in Afyonkarahisar led to one person losing their life and another being injured. The fire broke out in an apartment on the third floor of a building located in Mareşal Fevzi Çakmak Neighborhood.

During the fire, Fadik Belen and Ali İhsan Demirdelen jumped from the balcony upon seeing the smoke. Unfortunately, this resulted in fractures in their bodies. Fadik Belen could not be saved despite being taken to the hospital.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident. The fire was extinguished by the fire department's intervention.
