CHP reacted strongly to the operations targeting Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. Gökhan Günaydın emphasized that these operations are an attempt at political design.

In the early morning hours, operations were conducted, resulting in the detention of 40 individuals, including Beyoğlu Mayor İnan Güney. Günaydın stated, "Your plans to seize municipalities won in the past will blow up in your hands."

Günaydın remarked that "Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality is being rendered unable to function," highlighting that even the Minister of Justice is disturbed by the way these operations are conducted.

As CHP questions the political motivations behind these operations, they assert that the will of the people cannot be taken away. "We will overcome this process with solidarity and determination," he stated.

During this process, CHP will continue to visit municipalities in Istanbul and meet with the public. Gökhan Günaydın said, "We will overcome these challenges with the support of our people."
