Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu called for urgent solutions to the forest fires. He emphasized the need for the Turkish Aeronautical Association to be mobilized effectively.

Imamoğlu stated, "When selecting forest workers, experts, and managers, prefer qualified individuals. Do not act based on political references," addressing the government.

Highlighting that fires are affecting various regions of Turkey, İmamoğlu said, "Think about the future of the country for once."

He urged the government to allocate a portion of the resources spent on suppressing democracy to aircraft and helicopters.

Imamoğlu concluded that, "We can extinguish these fires together," emphasizing the need for immediate action.
