TCMB President Fatih Karahan will meet with business representatives in Kayseri. This important meeting is part of the Monetary Policy and Macroeconomic Outlook Meetings.

Karahan previously visited Eskişehir, Uşak, and Denizli. Today, he will meet with representatives from the business world and civil society organizations in Kayseri.

Karahan stated that there is a team within the Central Bank that regularly conducts one-on-one meetings with the real sector. This team has held discussions with nearly 3,000 firms across Turkey.

In 2025, they decided to take this communication a step further with the Monetary Policy and Macroeconomic Outlook Meetings. They will visit many cities throughout the year to meet with industry, trade, and artisan chambers.

These meetings are of great importance for the future of the Turkish economy. Karahan is expected to deliver a comprehensive presentation on global developments, the Turkish economy, inflation, and monetary policy.
