US President Donald Trump announced that the European Union will invest over 600 billion dollars in the US. This statement came after his meeting with EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in Scotland.

Trump shared details of the trade agreement with the EU, stating, "The EU has agreed to purchase 750 billion dollars worth of energy products from the US." This agreement will strengthen trade relations between the two parties.

Trump also noted that the US will apply a direct 15% tariff on EU cars and other products. This signifies a significant change in US trade policies.

Last year, the EU sold goods worth 532.3 billion euros to the US while importing 335 billion euros worth of products. As a result of this trade, the EU had a surplus of 197.3 billion euros. Trump criticized this situation, expressing his discomfort with the EU's high trade surplus.
